Electrician membership

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern every electrician membership on Voltora. By creating an electrician account and starting membership, you agree to everything below.

1. Membership

Joining Voltora requires a one-time $50 signup fee and a $200/month membership, billed by card. Membership gives you unlimited job requests with no per-lead fees.

Membership is month-to-month and can be cancelled any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds.

Your membership must be active to receive job offers. If a payment fails, job offers pause until the card is updated.

2. Licensing, insurance and background check

You must hold an active electrician license required by your state and local jurisdiction, and general liability insurance of at least $1M. You must upload current documents and keep them current.

You authorize Voltora to run a standard background check. Work begins only after your credentials are verified and your profile is approved.

Providing false, expired or misleading credentials results in immediate removal and forfeiture of unpaid referral credits.

3. Voltora grading system

Every completed job is graded on work quality, on-time arrival, professionalism, client rating, and job completion without disputes.

Better grades mean better jobs: higher-graded electricians see higher-paying homes and premium jobs first, and get priority in automatic assignment.

Consistently low grades, repeated cancellations after accepting, or client disputes can lower your grade, reduce job offers, or lead to removal from the platform.

4. Jobs, pricing and payouts

Prices are set upfront by Voltora. You keep 80% of every job; Voltora retains a 20% platform fee. Payouts are scheduled weekly.

Jobs are offered by proximity, grade and availability. The first qualified electrician to accept gets the job. If you decline or don't respond in time, the job is automatically reassigned.

Once you accept a job, you commit to the scheduled window. Last-minute cancellations hurt your grade.

5. Client cancellations

Clients cancel free before an electrician is assigned. After assignment, a flat $49 cancellation fee applies.

If a client cancels after you've been assigned, you are notified immediately and the job is removed from your schedule.

6. Referral program

Refer other licensed electricians to Voltora. For every electrician who joins with your referral code in a calendar month, you get 10% off that month's membership fee — and it stacks: 5 referrals in one month means 50% off that month.

The discount applies to that month only. The following month your membership returns to the normal price, and new referrals earn a new discount.

Referred electricians must be real, licensed professionals. Self-referrals, fake accounts or duplicate signups void the discount and may result in removal.

7. Professional standards

You are an independent contractor, not a Voltora employee. You are responsible for your own taxes, tools, vehicle and compliance with all electrical codes.

Treat every home with respect: arrive on time, wear identification, clean up after the job, and communicate through the app.

Do not solicit clients to pay you outside the platform. Off-platform dealing with Voltora clients results in immediate removal.

8. Photos, reviews and data

Before/after photos and job records you upload become part of the client's Voltora Home Profile and may be shown to the client and future homeowners of that property.

Clients rate and review your work. Reviews are published on your profile and factor into your grade.

9. Changes and contact

Voltora may update these terms with notice in the app. Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept the new terms.
